| What
To Bring |
| Whitewater
Encounters provides necessary rafting equipment, including
lifejackets. Wetsuits, waterproof jackets and booties for
feet are available for rent.
All Trips: Water sandals that strap
on (not "flip flops") are also good footwear,
otherwise we recommend tennis shoes that can get wet. Swimsuits
are usually worn underneath wetsuits. Leave cotton clothing
behind in your car to wear after you return from
trip. Be sure to bring a neck or head strap to secure any
eyewear, and don't forget sunscreen. Valuables should be left
in a safe place.
Overnight Trips: Whitewater Encounters provides
tents and waterproof bags for your gear on multi-day trips.
You must bring your own sleeping bag, ground pad, dry clothes,
etc. |
